Manvers Street Beds
Bath in Bloom designed and replanted these large gravel beds to the delight of both locals and visitors alike. We hold regular work parties to maintain these important flower beds.

Bear Flat Gravel Garden
Bath in Bloom and the Bear Flat Association designed and planted this new gravel garden in Bear Flat. There are regular work parties to maintain this garden.

Bulb Planting
Each year, Bath in Bloom aim to plant thousands of bulbs in prominent places around the city with the help of community groups.

Litter Picking
Bath in Bloom team up with Bath BID to do litter picks around the City centre.

Community Volunteering
Bath in Bloom team up with community groups and help on their work parties.

Local Competition
Bath in Bloom organise an annual gardening competition and hold an awards ceremony to applaud the efforts made by the residents and businesses of Bath.

Schools
Bath in Bloom has a dedicated schools co-ordinator committee member and as a group we actively support gardening in schools.
The University of Bath Gardening Club are a much valued sponsor of our work with schools.

Judging Bath
Each year Bath in Bloom enters the RHS South West in Bloom competition on behalf of the City of Bath. A lot of organisation and route planning goes into this task but it is all worth while when Bath does well!

Community Awards
The RHS encourages community gardening through the "It's Your Neighbourhood" scheme. In Bath we have over 20 groups and each year Bath in Bloom present the IYN's with their awards at a special ceremony.

Fund Raising
An excellent way to raise funds is to have a plant sale each year. Recently we have combined it with a coffee and cake morning at The Packhorse in Southstoke, a community run pub. The plants are propagated and nurtured by members of the committee.
