It’s Your Neighbourhood

The Bath in Bloom Committee promotes the RHS ‘It’s Your Neighbourhood’ initiative throughout the year and encourages local groups and projects to take part in the scheme. Bath has over 20 volunteer community groups registered with the RHS, which is one of the highest numbers in the South West region. Once a year RHS assessors visit each group to see what has been achieved and to discuss their future plans with advice if required. The groups are assessed and awarded one of 5 standards: Level 1 Establishing, Level 2 Improving, Level 3 Developing, Level 4 Thriving, Level 5 Outstanding.

Bath in Bloom holds an annual awards ceremony in October to present each IYN with their RHS certificate.
