Friends of Sydney Gardens

Following a £3.4m restoration project to restore these Georgian gardens, funded largely by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, new recreational areas have been created which are now partially maintained by this group of volunteers.

In 2025 the gardens celebrated an amazing 230 years of being open to the public.
