More Trees BANES

More Trees BANES is a not-for-profit community-based organisation that grow trees from seed collected from local ancient woodlands. Their hub in Twerton consists of a community cabin, large polytunnel and composting toilet. Seedling trees are grown into saplings at their community-based nurseries all around the city, including several junior schools, for eventual planting out into the BANES area.

From the seed collection, growing on, and planting out, it is all done within a 10-mile radius, keeping everything very local.
