2 Schools in BANES achieve RHS Top Awards

At an awards ceremony organised by Bath in Bloom at Bath City Farm Cafe, Oldfield Park Junior School and Paulton Junior School were presented with their Outstanding certificates from the RHS. The deputy Mayor, Cllr Onkar Saini kindly came along to present the certificates. In the summer the RHS judges assessed the gardening projects both schools are running and awarded them the highest level of award, Outstanding, to both schools. The schools had signed up to be assessed through the RHS “It’s Your School” initiative which encourages schools to involve pupils in actively growing produce to eat as well as developing general horticultural skills. Many congratulations to both schools for achieving such a high level of recognition.
