Bear Flat Community Garden Spring Work Party

A small group of volunteers led by Bath in Bloom have weeded and generally tidied up the community garden for the Summer ahead. New planting has been done to increase the flowering perennials already doing well.

Last winter it was noticed that plants bordering the busy main road were suffering and it was thought that maybe the gritting salt may be to blame. So as an experiment salt-tolerant plants have been planted this time.
