The Bath In Bloom committee raises its own funds, primarily through contacting local businesses and organisations for support.
We are proud to have Dame Mary Berry CBE as our patron.
Sponsorship Opportunities and Donations
There are a number of ways you can help Bath in Bloom blossom this year!
We need sponsorship to help us put on our local Bath in Bloom competition. The competition is open to everyone living in Bath and North East Somerset and attracts numerous entries covering a range of categories for both private households, community groups and local businesses. Smaller donations are also required to support the prizes for the various categories in the local competition.
Bath and North East Somerset Council plant many of the wonderful floral displays thoughout the City. Sponsors, however, are needed for many of the floral displays, such as the Brock Street flower beds and the famous 3D bed in Parade Gardens and to continue to adorn the City with colourful hanging baskets, window boxes and newly planned beds. For instance have you seen the new sustainable beds in Manvers Street? They look amazing and couldn't have been created without sponsorship and volunteer support.
The many volunteer community groups across the City also need sponsorship money. They all make such a difference not only to the way Bath looks but also to its "Green" credentials.
The Committee is currently working on a fundraising strategy which will examine the potential to explore other funding opportunities. We are also closely working with Bath BID (Business Improvement District) to encourage more business support and involvement.
We would also welcome help and support from private individuals.
If you can help in anyway please contact us via our contact page. Thank you.
